New Yobk, 18th January. Advices from Guadaloupe via Bermuda report the cholera still prevailing there, the average deaths being 131 per day in a population of 10,000. The rumoured proposal to cede the island of St. Domingo to England is creating some comment at Bermuda.

The Kingston (Jamaica) Standard, of 9th December, in noticing the outcry with which the wholesale executions on the island had been received in Europe, affirms that the negro plot was a stern and horrible reality, and was only prevented from developing itself by the rapid movement of troops.
