Races. No person to enter a horse unless he be a subscriber of not less than L 3 3s to the funds; and no person to nominate unless both owner and nominator be subscribers of the said amount. Moreover, no person to nominate for more than one owner. Disqualification will ensue on the infringement of this regulation. General entries to be made at the Provincial Hotel, Dunedin, previous to 8 p.m., on Thursday, Ist March. All entrances and acceptances must he in sealed covers, addressed to the Stewards or Secretary, and contain entrance money, sweepstakes, description and age of horse, and colors to be worn by the jockey. A penalty of 2 soys may be enforced for incorrect entry. Correct jockey costume insisted upon, and a fine of 2 soys may be enforced for coming to scale or riding in wrong colors. All dogs will be destroyed on the course, independent of ownership. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys paid in accordance with the programme, for expenses.
