S , a superior Cart Colt, bred by Mr Colletf, of Stratton, nfar >windon, Wiltshire, is a dark bay horse, with four black legs, immens-e bone, fine Rymmetry, and extremely strong and active, is rising 7 years old, and stands Seventeen Hands Two Inches high. His Sire is that celebrated hows Champion of » England, bred by Mr Greenaway, of Even Swindon, which the owner refused 400 Guineas for, to go abiond in 1855. Pis Dam was a J)ure bred Lincolnshire cart mare, 1 y that celebrated horse Cobhaai ; Dam, by Old Big Ben; Grantlam, the Earl of Oxford's old Galtimore. Y. S- waa shown at the Warwick Agricultural Show in 1859, and was considered by the judges to be the best three year old colt shown. Terms :- -Seven Pounds. All demands payable on the Ist of February. The Groom's Fee of 5a to be paid at the time of covering. The proprietor of Young Sampson offers a prize of L 5 for the best Colt Foal, and L 5 for the best Filly Foa of Young Sampson's stock, at the Taieri Agricultural Show this season. Monarch stands 17 hands high, color dark brown, of gallant carriage and superior action, a majestic and powerful horse with an amplitude ot bone and muscle. Also, THE CLYDESDALE HORSE "HERO," Got by the same sire as Monarch, out of a ClydesMare, bred by the Twofold Bay Clyde Company. Color black; stands 154 hands high; 8 years old. A powerful nuggetty colt, and of remarkable acton.
