Limestone of a superior quality to any hitherto obtained, has lately been discovered. From its situation at the junction of the main North, and South roads, with t/ie road to the interior and the diggings ; it is belieted Palmerston will become the centre of a large traffic, and is destined to be one of the chief inland towns of Ota^o.
