MELBOURNE MARKETS.
Floub. — Imports since the Ist instant consist of about 1500 tons from South Australia, and 150 tons from Tasmania, showing that we are now drawing supplies from our ordinary sources. Tasmanian, £17 10s. ; Adelaide sorts, £17 15s. to £18 10s. ; Hart's and Magarey's superfine, £19 ss. to £19 10s. per ton of 2000 lbs. : Haxall, Gallego, and Moncure'& Co.'s brands or American, 425. per barrel of 196 lbs. Wheat.— The imports since the Ist instant consist of about 35,000 bushels from South Australia, and 85,000 bushels from Tasmania, which are somewhat extensive, besides some from our own sea-board, and stocks now held here are to a greater extent than lately. Victorian and Tasmanian, 7s. to 7s. 6d. ; South Australian; 7s. 9d. to Bs. per bushel of 60 lbs. 0i.T8.~- -Imports, are confined almost entirely to, Tasmanian, and are not heavy. Colonial, 3s. 9d. to 4s. 2d. per bushel of 40 lbs. — dough's Circular, April 26. Later Melbourne papers to the 15th May state that the price of Flour has given way fully '10s. per ton. Sales of town made, are reported at £17. Wheat — imports are considerable?^ prices rule at 6s. 9d. to 7s. 3d. ;v; v Adelaide sorts, ■ 7s. 6d. to Bs. per bushel. Oats firmly maintain their position, Colonial being quoted at 35.-3kL.to 4s. 3d. per bushel. Considerable cargoes of Flour, Wheat, Oats, and Bran are being imported into Melbourne Jfrom Adelaide and T&sr mania. Potatoes, range from £4155. to £5 per ; ton, and; Onions £5.
