NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to the " Registration of Electors' Act, 1858," the Lists of Voters for the Electoral Districts of the " CITY of DUNEDIN," "HAMPDEN," and "BRUCE," will j be Revised and Objections will be heard, by i the Revising Officer, in open Court, at the Court-House, Dunedin, on MONDAY, the 17th day of June next, at Eleven o'clock in the Forenoon. The Names and particulars of Abode and Qualification of every duly qualified person omitted, who shall be proved to have given due notice of his claim, will be inserted. Any mistakes which shall appear in the List of Voters will be corrected. The name of every person whose qualification as stated upon such list shall be insufficient in Law to entitle such person to Vote, — also the name of every person proved to be dead, and every name which shall be proved to be fictitious, will be expunged. The names of persons whose Christian names or places of abode are incorrectly stated, or the nature or description of whose qualification shall be wholly omitted, or whose names, places of abode, or the nature or description of whose qualification are insufficiently described for the purpose of being identified, will be also expunged, unless the matter so omitted or insufficiently described be supplied to the satisfaction of the Revising Officer, before he shall have completed the Revision of such List of Voters. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on ' and after Ist July instant, the penal ■ clauses of the Dog Nuisance Ordinance have j come into operation within the Province, after that date, the constables appointed by the Su"perintendent to ask for exhibition of Registration Tickets, and to sue for penalties, are empowered to commence and perform the duties imposed upon them by the said Ordinance. The owners of unregistered Dogs are now warned, that if, after this intimation,, they neglect to comply with provisions of the Ordinance, by causing their Dogs to be regisi tered; "they Will have themselves to blame for the consequences of their neglect.
