County, a Man the name of JOHN ASHWORTH. . late of Pigeon Bat, Banks' PBNiNsur.A, about , 25 to 30 years of age, 5 feet 3 inches high, rather bow-legged, light complexion, and brown curly hair, slight moustache and beard, speaks the Yorkshire dialect, taking with him the undermentioned property, which did not belong to him, viz.: — A Silver double-cased Hunting Watch, made by Ellis, Exeter, Three Five-Pound Notes, H. P. P. numbers H. 224, H. 33t, H. 656, A small Opera Glass, in Morocco case, and a doublebarrelled Fowling Piece, with Rifle fitting the same stqck, maker's name Wm. Dooley, Liverpool, initials H. J. G. in ink inside the stock, and crest " Griffin, Rampart," on the outside of stock. Also, a Sheep Bitch, Smithfield breed, short tail, very rough haired, colour, a mixture of red and black, with white patches, right ear injured by a , bite from another dog, answers to the name of "Nelly."
