PROCLAMATION OF HUNDREDS.

The following proclamation, dated 30th November 1860, constituting Hundreds in the Northern part of this Province, we take from the General Government Gazette of the 6th ult.:—

There shall be within the Province of Otago the several Hundreds, bounded by the limits and known by the names or designations hereunder written ; that is to say, — • Hawkesbury — Forty-three square Miles.— Bounded on the North by a direct line from Little Cone to Puketapu, thence fcy^a direct line to the Lagoon hea4^^cgb^|fi|^ag^a_ ~*o-*he Oueau r^o^Ttniß^lEa^irb^wieCS^a^T^ojr the South, by Waikouaiti River ; on the West, by a direct line from the Waikouaiti jtmctldii Little Cone. - t .. Moebaki — Twenty-four square Miles,-— Bonnded on the North by the Kakaho Creek ; on the East, by the Ocean ; on the South, by a direct line from the mouth of the Waipai to Ridge Peak ; and on the West, by a direct line from Ridge Peak to the junction of the Kakaho Creek. Oa.maku — Thirty - nine square Miles. — Bounded on the North by an East and West line- (true bearing), passing over the Devil's Bridge, between the Waiareka and Lanclon, Creeks, and by the Landon Creek; on the East and South by the Ocean; and on the West by the Waiareka Creek.
