By His Honor William Cargill, Fsquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago. ■ TjyHEREAS by an Ordinance passed by the Superintendent of the said 1 Province, by and with the advice and con1 sent of the Provincial Council thereof, intituled the " Pastoral Districts Ordinance, 1859, it is enacted that " it shall be lawful for the Superintendent from time to time, by proclamation in the " Provincial Government, Gazette," to constitute Distiicts within the Province, which shall be called Pastoral Districts ; Now therefore I, the said Superintendent, do hereby Proclaim and Declare that for the purposes of the said Ordinance the said Province shall be divided into seven Districts, designated and bounded as follows :—: — OAMARU PASTORAL DISTRICT. Xottli by the Waitaki. E?,st by 'the Ocean. South by the Kakanui River. West by tlie Kakanui, Karau, Ilawkdun, and Dunstan Mountains. MOEKAKI PASTORAL DISTRICT. Koith by Oamaru Pastoral District. East by the 0&.-ati. iSoutb and West by the Horse Range and Kakanui Mountains. WAIKOUAITI PASTORAL DISTRICT. Xorth by Ilawkdun, Karau, and Kakanui Mount'iins and lloisc Hanger,. East by the Ocean. South by an east and west line drawn from lUueskin Hill to the Taieri River, by the Taieri River, Sntton's Stream, Lanimcrinoor, a.id Knobby Ranges. \ West by the Clutlui River and Dunstan Mountains.
