THE -virtue of disease often makfes its way to the internal organs through the- pores of the skin. This penetrating Ointment, nicking under the hand as it is rubbed in, is absorbed through the same channels, and i caching the seat of inflammation, promptly and invariably subdues it, whether located in the 3ri<]neys, the liver, the lungs, or anj other important organ. It penetrates the surface to the interior, through the countless tubes that communicate with the skin as Summer rain passes into the fevered eaith, diffusing its cold and regenerating influence. Skin Diseases and Grandular Sivellings. Every species of exterior irritation is quickly reduced by the anti-inflammatory action of this Ointment. Angry Eruptions, such as Kings' Evil, Erysipelas, Tetter, Ringworm, Scald Head, Nettle Rush, Scabies (or Itch), fee., die out to return no more, under its application. Hospital experience in all parts of the world proves its infallibility in, disease of the skin, the muscles, the joints, and the glands. Ulcers, Sores, and Tumors. The effect of this unrivalled external remedy upon Scrofula, and other virulent ulcers and sores, is almost miraculous. It first discharges the poison which produce suppuration and proud flesh, and thus the cures which its healing properties afterwards complete are safe as well as permanent. Wounds, Bruises, Burns, and Scalds. In. cases of the fracture of the bone, injuries caused by steam explosions, Bruises, Burns, Scalds, Rheumatism, Stiffness of the Joints, and contraction of the Sinews, it is employed and warmly recommended by the Faculty. This marvellous remedy has been introduced by its inventor in person into all the leading Hospitals of Europe, and no private household should be without it. Bad Legs. This Ointment will cure any case of Bad Leg even if of twenty years standing, or however hard or discoloured the flesh may b*», or if swollen the size of a i person's body, providing that the Ointment i$ well ; rubbed into the whole of the parts affected twice a day in large quantities, and the parts kept covered with 1 linen rags thickly spread with the Ointment; from 1 this *node of treatment, a plentiful discharge of un- > healthy humour will follow, until the wounds ara • all healed on the Leg, or other parts assumes it« r natural appearance. Emptions on the Shin. Blotches, pimples, dry eruptions, and all irritations of the skin, fade and disappear after a few applications of Holloway's Ointment. In these cases brisk friction is indispensable. Many of the ordinary eruptions are caused by suppressed perspiration, and as this penetrating unguent at once opens the pores anil invigorates the absorbents, it dissipates the inflammation by a double process. Ladies, whose faces or arms are disfigured by cutaneous diseases, may readily remove the blemish and restore to tho skin its natural tint, flexibility, and softness, by the use of this safe but powerful counter-irritant.
