NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Registration of Dogs, for the Province of Otago, commenced on the Ist day of April inst. The Ordinance, inter alia, provides :— 1. That the owner, whether Native or European, of any Dog or Dogs, six months old or upwards, shall annually, on Ist April, Register the same in a Book to be kept for that purpose by the Clerk to the Bench. 2. For the Registration of every auch Dog a Fee of 108. shall be paid yearly to tha Clerk to the Bench, who in return shall supply to each individual so Registering a Registration Ticket. 3. Any person refusing to exhibit such Registration Ticket is liable in a penalty of £5. 4. Any person maintaining or having in his following any Dog of the age above-mentioned, Unregistered for three months after said Ist April shall be liable in a fine of not less than £), nor more than £5. 5.
