MY RUNS in the Moeraki District No. 101 and 2s r o. 9, together with the Sheep running thereon, and crop of Wool on backs of said Sheep, having been forcibly taken from me and sold for the sum of £930, which I valued at £4000 (and whilst I had other property in possession), to satisfy a fine imposed upon me by the Government for the small sum of £100, — I hereby Caution the Public or any Person against purchasing or in any way interfering with the property on the said Runs, 1 believing the whole proceedings of the Government towards me to have been illegal ; as also the Auction for the sale of property, which was called in one place, and the Goods or Property sold or sacrificed in another, some ~" miles distant.
