South-west by the river Clutha (Matau branch), from its mouth to where the Kaihiku stream or river flows into it; thence by a right line to Charles's Harbour, on the west coast. South-east by the Ocean. 7. — Clutha District. j North-east by the Tokomairiro District. East and South by the Sea Coast. West by the Mataura River and Wakatip Lake. North by the waters of the Wakatip Lake and Clutha River. 8. — Northern District. North by the Canterbury Province. South by the Western District. East by the Ocean. West and south-west by a right line running in a north north-westerly direction from the Trigonometrical station on Flagstaff Hill to the boundary of the Province. N.B.— Copies of the Electoral Rolls for the above-mentioned Districts, prepared by me in accordance with clause 55 of the " Registration of Electors Act, 1858," will be posted during the first 14 days of March next at the Court House, Dunedin, and on the principal School Houses of the other Districts, with the exception of the Northern District, where the Roll will be posted at Mr. Kennard's residence, at Goodwood ; and copies thereof may, during the same period, be perused or copied at my Office.
