Provincial Treasury, Dunedin, November 1858. nPAKE NOTICE, that the ASSESSMENT -A. leviable from Flockowners for the year ending 30th September, 1858, under the "Sheep Ordinance, 1856, section 12, has been i fixed as intimated to each of them ; and that I any Objections thereto must be lodged in writing with me before the 30th day of December next, after which the parties assessed shall be foreclosed from objecting. And in pursuance of the said Ordinance, and the authority given to me in virtue thereof, I hereby appoint that they make payment of the amounts for which they respectively are rated, before the 31st day of January, within this Office, under the penalty of onehalf more. Any Flockowner who has not received the Schedule of Assessment addressed to him may have a duplicate thereof on application at this Office, and the want thereof will not excuse him from the penalty of one-half more.
