T3 V Virtue of the< powers in me vested 1J by the "ferries- Ordinance, 1856," I, the Superintendejat of tHe Province of Otago, with 1 the advice and consent of the Executive Council, clo .hereby give notice that the authorised Fares, • chargeable - at the Clutha Ferry for persons, animals, carriages, and goods conveyed across the same, are the following, viz.,— From sunrise till one hour, after sunset : — s. d. For each person 0 6 „ „ Horse, Mule, or Ass..; 1 0 „ „ head of Great Cattle... 0 6 „ „ Sheep, Goat, or Hog, when under 20 .". 0 2 „ „ Sheep,' Goat, or Hog, when 20 and \ipwards 0 1 „ „ -Cart, Dray, or Carriage, :': ' unloaded- 2 6 ' „ Goods at the rate of 6d. per cwt. „ one hour after sunset till sunrise the above Fares and Freights, and one-half more, shall be charged. Further, I hereby give notice that the Mail, «,nd persons exhibiting a certificate under the hand of the Superintendent that they are on duty under the employment of the Government, are exempt from the payment of said Fares and Freights.
