Present — Messrs. Rennie, Macandrew, Cutten, and Robertson. Mr. Kilgour in the Chair. The Board were wholly engaged in hearing appeals against the assessment, and adjourned until Saturday at 2 o'clock.
Queen's Birth Day. — Monday next will be observed as a public holiday, in commemoration of her Majesty's 38th birthday. The public offices will not be opened.
