There has been a great run on colonial Oats, which have gone as high as 9s. 3d. Scotch are not in such great demand, and only realise 6s. 3d. for good samples. Wheat from 8s to 9s. and bran Is. 10d. per bushel. Butter heavy of sale ; a sale of butter, double rose Cork, took place at lOd. per lb. Timber is better in demand. Geelong, Nov. 1, 1856.— Mr. Watts, auctioneer, Geelong, reports that the undermentioned prices have been obtained by public auction for the following produce and merchandise, at his rooms, during the week ending Ist instant, viz.— Oats 6s. 7d. per bushel, potatoes £4 per ton, ale 7s. per dozen, porter 9s. 9d. ditto, brandy 325. ditto, geneva 555. per case of 4 gallons, Bath bricks 3s. 3d. per dozen, York hams Is. per lb., men's bluchers 6s. 6d., boys ditto, 4s. 9d., bran, damaged, Is. 9d. per bushel, earthenware 50 to 100 per cent, advance. Flour steady at £23. Hokart Town, Oct. 31, 1856.— Fine flour £25 to £26, Chilian £25, per ton. Wheat Bs. 6d. to Bs. 9d. Oats 7s. to 7s. 3d., Bran Is. Bd. per bushel. Potatoes 255. to 275. per ton. Launceston, Nov. 1, 1856.— -Fine flour £20 to £22 per ton. Wheat 7s. to 7s. 6d., Oats 7s. 9d to Bs., Bran Is. 6d. to Is. 9d. per bushel. Bread, per 41b loaf, lOd.
