CAPTAIN CARGILL requests the inhabitants of the following Districts will be good enough to meet and confer with him as under : — Green Island Bush District— On Thursday, 9lh October proximo, in the School-house, at 5 o'clock p.m. East Taieri District— On Friday the 10th, in the School-house, at 5 o'clock p.m. Waihola District — On Monday the 13th, at Mr. William Grey's, at 5 o'clock p.m. Tokomairiro District— On Tuesday the 14th, at the Preaching Station, at 5 o'clock p.m. Clutha District — On Wednesday the 15th, at Mr. John Shaw's, at 12 o'clock noon.
