ISTortF To^oitnaifiro, the " Hundred " of East Clutha, and the Hundred of West Clutha, the boundaries whereof respectively are hereinafter particularly described. Description of the boundaries of the Hundred of " Dunedin" : — On the North-west by a right line from the North Trigonometrical Station Blueskin Bay, to the Trigonometrical Station on Double Hill, thence by a right line to the Trigonometrical Station on Swampy Hill, thence by a right line to the Trigonometrical Station on Flagstaff Hill, Wakari, thence by a right line to North-west corner of Suburban Section No. 41, Wakari District, thence by the Surveyed Lands to the South-west corner of Suburban Section No. 155, Wakari District, thence by Abbot's Creek and the Kaikorai River to the Ocean, and thence on the South and East by the Ocean. Description of the boundaries of the Hundred of " East Taieri" :— On the North by a right line from the Trigonometrical Station on Swampy Hill, due West to the Taieri River, West by the Taieri River, South by the Ocean, and East by the Hundred of Dunedin. Description of the boundaries of the Hundred of " West Taieri :"— On the North and West by a line from the North-west corner of the Hundred of East Taieri, at the Taieri River, to the summit of the Maungatua Hills, thence in a South-westerly direction in a right line towards the mouth of the Kaihiku Stream till it meets the South-west Boundary of the Hundred, which Boundary is the continuation of the E,oad line running Northwest from the South-west extremity of the Waihola Lake, and dividing Blocks 9 and 10 Waihola District South and East by the Waihola and Wapori Lakes and the Taieri River. Description of the boundaries of the Hundred of " Waihola" :— On the North and East by the Waihola Lake and Taieri River, on the North-west by the Road line running direct from the Waihola Lake, through the Tokomairiro District to the Tokomairiro River, and on the South and East by the Tokomairiro River and the Ocean. Description of the boundaries of the Hundred of " South Tokomairiro" :—: — On the North-east by the Tokomairiro River to the Road line between Blocks 32 and 41 Tokomairiro District. On the North-west by said Road line and a right line through and dividing in half blocks 32 and 38 of said District, thence along the Road line between blocks 4 and 5 North Tuakitoto District to its junction with the Road line between Blocks 2 and 5 of said District, thence in a North-west direction by the said Road line to a line being the North-west boundary of Block 8 of said District and thence by said line and a continuation of it to the Clutha River, Southwest by the Clutha River (Matou branch) to the Ocean, and on the South-east by the Ocean. Description of the boundaries of the Hundred of " North Tokomairiro" : — On the North-east by the Hundred of West Taieri, North-west by a continuation of the North-west boundary of No. 3 to the Clutha River, South-west by the Clutha River, and South-east by the Hundreds of Waihola and South Tokomairiro. Description of the boundaries of the Hundred of " East Clutha" :— On the North-east by the Clutha River (Matou Branch). West by the Road line forming the Western Boundary of Blocks 43 to 38 Clutha District and a continuation of said line, South-west by a right line from Tokata Point (The Nuggets) to the South-west corner of Section No. 15, Block 7, South Clutha District, thence in a right line in a North-westerly direction, (nearly) to join the West Boundary, East by the Ocean. Description of the boundaries of the Hundred of " West Clutha" :— On the North-east by the Clutha River, on the East by the Hundred of East Clutha, on the South-west by a continuation of the right line forming the' South-western Boundary of the Hundred of East Clutha, . and on the West by the Western Boundary of Blocks 97 to 100, extending or 4 pr6duced Northward to the Clutha Riverj and Southward to the South-western Boundary. .Given under my hand and, issued ,vn r .der the.
