TEACHER WANTED FOR THE SCHOOL EAST TAIERI. A PPLICATIONS, with Testimonials, to be xjl lodged with Andrew Todd or Rev. Wm. Will, East Taieri, on or before the 22nd inst. The Teacher will have the use of about 10 Acres of Land, with a Free House. Applicants to state the amount of Salary that may be expected. Teacher to commence his duties about the Ist November next. None need apply whose moral character cannot stand the strictest investigation. East Taieri, July 1, 1856. Also a vessel from Melbourne (having on board their Mr. Macandrew) to arrive here sometime this month, and will be succeeded by the "GIL BLAS" on or about the 10th August. Parties desirous of availing themselves of these opportunities for the shipment of Produce are requested to forward it to the Store of the Undersigned as soon as possible, as it is their intention to despatch all three vessels within a few days after arrival, full or not full. TVTOTIOE is hereby Given, that on and after -»- 1 the Ist day of July instant, any person maintaining or having in his following any Unregistered Dog or Dogs, is liable in a Penalty of not less than Twenty Shillings nor more than Five Pounds, for every Dog so unregistered, over and above the Registration Fee. The Officers of the Constabulary Force have been instructed to require exhibition of such Tickets, and any person who shall refuse to exhibit his Registration Ticket, when so required, is liable in a Penalty not exceeding £5.
