POET CHALMERS EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT. j npHE Otago Board of Education having -i- erected that part of North-east Valley to the north-east of section 80, Sawyers' Bay DisI trict, Port Chalmers. Lower Harbour to the Heads, Portobello District,. Purakunui and Bluesldn Districts, into an Educational District under the name of Port Chalmers Educational District, — Do hereby, in pursuance of the Education Ordinance, 1856, call a Meeting of the Persons residing wilhin the said Educational District liable to assessment, for the purposes of the said Ordinance, viz., Male personsof the a<re of 21 years and upwards, to be held wilhin the Wesleyan Church at Port Chalmers, upon Friday, the 11th day of July 1856, at 2 o'clock afternoon, in order to resolve what steps shall be taken towards establishing and maintaining a Public School within said Educational District ; to elect seven persons liable to the assessment as a School Committee : and to give such instructions to said Committee as the meeting thinks fit.
