Reports from the various centres indicate that the tracks will be in excellent condition for Christmas racing. The Auckland Trotting Club has attracted large fields for the first day, next Wednesday (December 27th), of its Christmas meeting, to be held at Epsom. The second event on the programme, the December Handicap, is to be run in divisions. It has been decided to run the first division on the opening day and the second division on the second day. The Otaki stable of J. Flannagan is represented at the meeting by Mrs, J. Quinn’s Black Native.
