THE OTAKI MAIL. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 1932. CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.
The Christmas season is upon us, and residents' of' the district will have under consideration the very important problem ftf what to buy for Christmas presents. With such varied stocks in the shops, and prices as reasonable as could be found in any centre ill the- Dawi-i/m ike task of selection should not. be a very hard one. What we would impress upon residents is the advantage of doing their Christmas shopping as eerly as possible, for two reasons. First, the early comer obtains tie best selection before the goods avj picked over, and, secondly, consideration is due to .'the harassed i shop lisjsistiuit in the busy, period. There is always an fjeventh-hour rush in any ease to purchase a present for .Miiiio reiiinve or Irioni who has been overlooked in the hurry sue! L-Ufctle of Christmas shopping, tiut the position would bo greatly iirrjimyitCii ;f everybody lefr tiioir ClirU^nuis- Shopping until the last day. A good motto for the residents during ihe Christmas season is "Shop'early and shiip often."
