OTAKI HOSPITAL.
Under tho will of the late Mrs. hi. S. Meßcath, of Otaki, the Otaki Hospital is to receive £SO conditional 071 the Government subsidising the bequest 011 a £1 for £1 basis. The will directs thai the amount stall be expended'in equipment and accessories for tlie operating theatre. A letter intimating the above was received at yesterday's meeting of the l'almerston North Hospital Board from tlie solicitors for the deceased. The gift was much appreciated by the Board, the chairman, Sir .Tames Wilson, stating that they would 110 doubt procure the subsidy.
