BUTTONHOLES OF REAL FLOWERS
If you would like to follow the fashion for wearing a posy of real flowers, the life of the buttonhole may be prolonged by the following treatment. Dissolve an aspirin tablet in half a cup of warm water. In this solution soak a small piece of cotton wool. Wrap this round the ends of the stalks and keep the moisture in by enclosing the whole hi a piece of silver foil.
