CROQUET.

Quite a number of croquet players patronised the green On Saturday and indulged in enjoyable games. The play of Mrs McGill, of Seatoun. who is a player of note, was watched with nfueli interest. A movement is on foot to enlarge the present playing area, and n committee from the Bowling Club on Saturday inspected a price of ground adjoining. Members of the Levin Club will visit Otaki ou Thursday when an enjoyable contest should result for the Pollock Stars, now held by Otaki.
