The New Zealand Meat Producers' 1 Board is advised by cable from its London Office that the shipments from Australia ''and South America to the United Kingdom during the first half of October were as follows : — - Australia: Carcases mutton 39,844 Carcases lamb v 363,225 Quarters beef . 29,340 South America:. Carcases mutton 7,332 Carcases lamb 105,255 Quarters beef (frozen) 50 „ (chilled) 168,020 The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the same period were as follows : — New Zealand; Carcases mutton 86,292 Carcases, lamb 81,286 Quarters beef 8,779 The shipments from South America to the Continent of Europe during the same period, were as. follows: — Mutton , v - v Nil.
