Election of Officers.
The same Committee was re-elected except Miss Gould, who did not seek re-election, while the members' were given powen. to add to their number. Mr Wesney was re-elected chairman and m returning tnanks tor continued confidence, also tnanked the committee tor * their assistance,, m the past, special mention being necessary ot tne excellent work done by Mr J. G. C. Baker as secretary. His position as President had been made easy be^ cause ot the co-operative help ot the committee and tne good work of the Nurse and Mr Baker. " ,
A motion, of , thanks Wa£ passed the local branch 'of the Women's Division fpr offering to collect; Jthe County subscriptions, ' which effort should "be taken m November.,' •
it was resolved the Committee undertake to collect the x Town Area at the same time as early payment is required by the Hospital Board to retain the service.
The secretary was instructed .to see the secretary,. Wallace Hospital Board m regard to the material to be ,provided for the Nurse by the Board. .The Nurse v was authorised to take her month's holiday. when least likely to- interfere with the service. The Nurse reported she found it' essential tyo provide certain medical supplies for emergency cases and it was resolved' the secretary interview the Wallace Hospital Board officials m regard l to the provision of an emergency kit.
