GIRL GUIDE NOTES.
On Saturday, October 15th., Guides Brownies, Scouts and Cubs, with their Leaders and members of committee, numbering altogether sixty, journeyed to Invercargill to participate m the combined Rally. A horseshoe of four rows, two of Guicles f one of Cubs and- two of Scouts, was formed at two o'clock. As' they stood at attention, the colours were unfurled to the singing of the National Anthem. ,
The. march past then followed and was a most stirring sight; Mrs Macd^nald 1 , Pi-pvinOial Commisjsioner, took the salute as the Brownies and Guides marched past; Dr ; Fenwick C. U. G. Honorary Dominiqn Chief Commissioner of Boy Scouts, took the salute as the Scouts and Cubs brought up the rear of theNpariide. Displays of the various companies were then given and were most educative, as an insight to the work of Guides and Scouts. It was a tired but happy band of girl's and boy* which arrived back with the delayed train. .
