ST. ANDREW'S SCOTTISH SOCIETY.

A very pleasant Members' evening was held m the Supper Room on Friday evening, Chief D. C. McCrostie presiding. Acceptable items were contributed by Mrs L, J. Brd\vn, "My Grannie's. Highland Home"; Mr Alex. Coulter "Roamin : m the Gloamin' ". and Mr D.. C. McCrostie "The devil's awa' with the ex-ciseman". Mrs Cupples played the accompaniments.

Mr John Fisher also gave a very in-; teresthig- address o n Sir Han-y Laucler's book "Roamin' m the Gloamin' "and we hope to publish a full re port of this. next week.

The Chief passed a... very hearty vote of thanks . to the performers and Mr Fisher for his address. After supper dancing was enjoyed by the large air; tendance present, to ..music by Mrs) Cupples: Mr Ti' McKeneie Jnr. acted j as M.C.
