CARD EVENING.

The Bayswater Tennis Club conduct ed a "Card" Evening last Tuesday to raise funds towards the Earthquake Relief Fund, the ( effort realising £2 15/ Euchre was enjoyed the winners being Miss S. McCall and Mr T. Brown, while the booby prizes went to Miss M Anderson and Mr Wallace Collie. During the evening Mr Geo. Lincisay, delighted those present with several numerous items as well as dancing a Sailor's Hornpipe. He is a versatile entertainer and a general favour ite. Music for the dance was provided by Messrs Johnston Bros., Mr G. D. Low acting as M.C. Those present were :Mr and Mrs F. J. Collie,. Mesdarnes F/ Malcolm -ana H. D. Collie, Misses May (4), Collie (2), McCall (2), Anderson, Manson, Irwin, Kennedy, McFadden, Messrs May, Johnston (2), Kennedy (2) Smyth, Edgerton, Brown, Walker, Manson (2), White, Boyle (3), Malcolm (2), Collie (4), Grant, Cbwie, Homer, Jaquiery, G. Lindsay, Low and Flynn. The Bayswater Tennis CtuVs usjual social evening was jield m Mr Grant's residence last night. The prizes were ivon by Miss Kennedy and Mr L. Walcer, while the consolation prizes went ;o Miss May and H. Smyth, junr. A short dance programme was enjoyed ater to music supplied by Mr j. Johnitori. Those present were Mrs ,F.
