THE "BROWN' CUP.
On Friday evening* Messrs Thomson and Saxelby journeyed to Nightcaps to endeavour to regain possession of the "Brown" Cup from the hold ers (Messrs A. Buchanan and Broome) The game was a fairly even one until, the 12th -head, there being only a difference of two m the scores. From then on the holders drew' away from their opponents, and won by a margin of II 1 points'^ the final score being 23-12.
