Sports at Nightcaps.

The sports run under the auspices of the Miners' Union were held at Nightcaps on Labour Day on grounds kiiidly lent by Mr W. Excell. The weather was perfect, and a large number gathered to witness the various events. The Brass Band played many fine, selections during the afternoon, , which were, enjoyed by all.

The Committee desire to thank the public, for donations and trophies towards the prize fund, and also the Band foe the programme of music, which helped to enliven the pro: ceedings. /
