Referees' Association.
At a meeting of the Referees' Asso ciafcion on Saturday night a resolution was carried, and which will be submitted to each of the referees present at the annual meeting for signature, stating " that m the event of a refaree notifying bis inability to take a game the President was empowered to fill the vacancy." A further resolution was carried : " That the above be forwarded to the 6ub»union v>ith the request that the matter of the Otautau- Orawia match be reconsidered, and the reflection on the Referees' Association withdrawn, otherwise please acoept the resignation of the undersigned,"
