Hockey Ball.
The Hall was artistically decorated ou Friday evening tor the Hockey Ball, gold and blaok streamers, iuterßpersed with snowballs, forming a dame above tl_B dancers, while the atatre was decorated with tho Club colours aud autumn leaves. The electric lighting, used tor the first time, materially uddcd to the effect, aud with the bumper atteudance. what struck the vision was a grand galaxy of colour, and bright happy faces ol everyone eujoying an evening's pleasure under an ideal setting. • Messrs Jellynian (piano;, Foster (violin) aod Ireland (effects) provided Bplendid music, while Mr R. B. Collett efficiently carried out th& niaster'n duties. Visitors were present from tar aud near, and a good sprinkling of the Clubs supporters who dn not dauce attended. The Annual Ball goes a long way to help the finances aud this years event has proved no exception.
