Winter Show.
A meeting of the Winter Show Committee was held on Friday evening, when the following were preseDt : Mr G. H. Hodges (Chairman), Mesdames Bojrns and Walker, Messrs Sinclair, Liddell, 'Bob!." and -T.'IL. ' It was resplved to add classes, for bau tarns m the Poultry Section. >- % ■*y v The admission was fixed the same' as last year. Thc Secretary was directed to apply, to the Town Board for the use of the Board bloom for bhe art exhibits. % - ,•• Mesdames . Porteous ' and Hall, Messrs Stevens and Lid, dell were appointed a can- , vising committee. ••••..'-. Mrs Meek wrote accepting the position of judge of art and photography ; Miss Dryburgh aud Mrs G. O. Cassela* wiote stating that they tvould be unable to act as judge of the Needlework Section.—Received. ' The following donations were accepted : Southland Frosen Meat Co., half tou : "Crossed Keys" M»uure ; Kempthorne, Prosser and Co., K. P. Cup ; and P. Hay,y man and. Co,, centre stand.
