OTAUTAU TOWN BOARD. Progressive League. A PUBLIC MEETING of Residents of the Town and District will be held m the Town Hall on Wed nesday, 29th January, 1919, to form a Progressive League to consider and formulate anti-war activities that will promote the welfare of returned soldiers and the progress -of Wallace. Soldiers' Memorial. • A MEETING~~of the Soldiers Memorial Committee, as defined at the Public Meeting held m the Town Hall on Thursday, 7th November, will be held on Wednesday, 22nd January, at 8 p.m., to decide what steps to take for the erectioii of a Soldiers' Memorial. The personnel of the Committee is, Members of all Public Bodies, A. and P. Association, Red Cross, Lady Liverpool and War Funds Associations, Officers of all Friendly Societies and Lodges, and Officers of District Patriotic Societies " A large muster is asked for.
