MONDAY, .23rd JULY, 1917. Before Mr G. Cruickshank, S.M. TOLICE CASKS. James Jenkins was charged with failing to notify the Government Statistician of changing his plaop of abode. — Convicted and fined £2 and costs 7s. A resident was charged with ill-treating a dog by kicking it to death. — Convicted and fined £3 and costs 7s. Another resident pleaded guilty to allowing cattle to wander at large within the Otautau Town District, and was oonvicWd , aDd fined 10s. piVIL CASB. Mrs Baird v. D. A. Mclvor, claim for £28 10s. — Judgment was given for tho full amount.
