REMARKABLE DOCUMENT ISSUED TO GERMAN TROOPS. Upon a recently-captured German prisoner lias been found a- striking document signed by the German General Staff, which bears out the oft-repeated assertion that the enemy troops were solemnly assured that with Warsaw taken Germany coxAd dictate terms of peace to Russia. The document states : — "We are cpming near Warsaw, the capital of a district m which for six months German blocd .has been poured out, and m which our soldiers have displayed mh'acles of courage that have excited the admiration even of. the enemy. Our adversary, conscious of tlic importanceof Warsaw, has concentrated for the defence of the city enormous forces, drawing, for this purpose troops from the Gaucasus and Siberia, but our valorous troops have already demonstrated that the enemy cannot possibly withstand their impetuous attack. The German troops annihilate everything m their patli like an avalanche.' With the capture of Warsaw will -come a fa,vorable issue of the campaign for Germany. We Shall then establish ourselves firmly on both banks of the. Vistula and dictate terms to the enemy. To this end it is necessary that tho German soldiers should employ all their unitary power. Warsaw must lie taken !" ,
