Wedding Bells.
McNAMARA— GAVIGAN.
On Wednesday last, Miss Katherine Jane (Katie) daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Gavigan, .Otautau, was united m the bonds of matrimony to Mr John MoNamura, a well-known farmer of Central Otago, and recently of Ranfurly. The Rev. Father Murphy performed the ceremony at the Catholic Church, Otautau. Miss Mary Giivifian, si3ter of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and Mr Thomas MoNamara, the* bridegroom's brother, as best man. There was a large nunrber present at the ceremony, and the altar was decorated for the occasion. After the ceremony, the reverend gentleman celebrated Mass. After the ceremony, the happy couple, together with the guests, the latter consisting of relatives only, repaired to the residence of the bride's parents, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was laid. The Rev. Father Murphy presided at the breakfast, and the usual loyal and felicitous toasts were proposed and responded to. Mr and Mrs MoNamara left by motor for Inveroargili, amid showers of rice, en route for Rotorua, and an extended tour of the North Island, Mr MoNamara being on the looKout fbr a. farm m the North, thus combining business with pleasure.
