Bluff Harbour Board.

WALLACE COUNTY REPRE-

SENTATIVE

The eleGtion of a member to represent Wallace County on the Blufi Hlfrbour Board took plaoe on Wednesday. There was very little interest shown, and as will be seen from the returns, a very small proportion of voters exeroised their privilege. The procedure is new to Harbour Board elections, and probably not widely known. The result is a meagre expression of opinion on the part of the electors. The sitting member, Mr John Fraser, was opposed by Mr Allan Carmichael. The verdict of the electors is that Mr Fraser retains his seat.
