White Cross League.
Mr R. H. Bligh, travelling representative of the White Cross League, is to lecture m the Town Hall on Friday evening. Mr Bligh, who has the hearty approval of the Hon. the Minister of Education m his work, has lectured throughout New Zealand and a good part of Australia since last being m Otautau. At a recent address given to women iv the Wellington Town Hall, there were 8000 present. The subjects on Friday evening are " The Power of Womanhood " at 7 o'clock te women, and "Natnre's Man," an ad< ro*s to men and lads over 14 yeara of age, at 8 p.m. The importance of, the subject of purity dealt with by Mr Bligh, cannot be over estimated, as on the purity of the lives of both men and women depends the future of our race. A full attendance should greet Mr Bligh, and all those attending may expect an instructive, educative and helpful address. There is no charge for admission to the lectures, but a collection will be taken up m support of the White Cross League. j
