OTAUTAU STOCK SALE.
The usual monthly stock sale was held m the Otautau saleyards on Wednesday last, when there was a poor attendance of buyers, owing no doubt to the heavy rains experienced. The prices obtained were on about a par with ordinary rates, but bidding was slack. The following is a list of prioes realised : — Hoggets 18a lOd, 14s Bd, 18s, fat wethers 255, ewes 18s.
Cattle.— Yearlings 295, 22s 6d, 2-yrold steers,. and heifers 32a, steers Lss, 2-ya-old heifer 38s, milch cows L 6 5a and L 5.
