The usaal monthly stock sale was held on Friday last, when there was a good attendance of buyers. A large number of oa;tle an>i s-;eep were yarded, but bidding for tha former dragged heavily during the dny, and as a result a few lots were passed m : — The following is a list of prices realised : —

Cattle, 255 yarded— Milch Cows, £5 2s 6d, £6 5?, £6 2s 6d, £5 12s 6d ; yearliDgs, 23a, 28s, 325; steers and heifers, 48s, 57s 6d, 355. 34s Id ; steers, 84s 6d, 70s, 555 ; cows, 50a,. fat cows 132s 6d.
