RECORD PROCEEDS 204 TABLES The first night of the new series of four weekly euchres was again very successful and enjoyable, the attendance being well maintained despite the adverse weather, 204, card tables being a nan ged- Miss Wehipeihana and Mrs. J. Macfie did good business on the stall and thanks to Mr, C. King’s generosity the proceeds, £ls-10-4 were a record. Card results were: Men, Mr, CPollard, 10 games, 1; Messrs. T. Coupe and D. Ratahi, 9 games equal, 2- Ladies, Mrs. Grey, 9 games, 1; Mrs. H. Simmons and Mrs. D. Ratahi, 8J games equal, 2. Mr- Kapo Ratahi again ably controlled the cards and the ladies served supper after the games concluded.
