INTER-CLUB GAMES JENKIN MEMORIAL Three inter-club games will he played on Sunday at neighbouring club greens, no organised games for Saturday being arranged owing to the Opunahe Races. The Jenkin Memorial Tournament between rinks from Opnnake, Kaponga, Rahotu and Auroa null be played at Kaponga, 8 Opunake rinks will plav at Pihama and 4 colts rinks will go to Rahotu. The players selected are as follows : Jerckin Memorial Match Opunake v. Kaponga 9 a.in. Sunday:—Young, Radich, Alger, it. Riley; Wallis, Davey, Trotter. Lewis; Sorenson, G. King, Jenkins, Leatherbarrow; Pickering, Mac Lean, Sinclair, L. Ties Forges. Cars leave green at 8 a-m. Opunake v. Pihama Commencing 1.30 p.m.: Hammond, Peat, Drought, Pettit; Mann, Macfie, Feaver, Shields; Mickleson, Julian, Hickey, Baylis. Cars leave at 1.15 pm. Opunake v. Rahotu Commencing 2 p.m.;—Humphrey, Bevan, C. King , Barra - dough; N. Des Forges, Dobbin, Albon, Quinn; Tapiki, Harding, Johnston, Tilley; Bailey, McKenzie, *'C. Riley, Siddells. Oars leave at 1.15 p.m. Forthcoming Tourneys On Saturday, March 26th., the Annual R.S.A, and H-S.A. match of 8 rinks will be. played at Rahotu commencing at 0 P.m. Opunake will provide 5' R.S.A. rinks and 4 H.S.A. rinks as follows:—H.S.A-: Mickleson, Hammond, Pickering, McGaughey; C. King, Davey, Hickey. Lewis; Sorenson, Siddells, Wallis, Sinclair; Mann, F. Julian, G. King, Morton. R.S.A.: Humphrey, Macfie, Burton, Alger; N. Des Forges, Harding, Trotter, L. Des Forges; McGregor, Albon, Tilley, K. Riley; C. Riley, Quinn, Peat, Drought; Clouston, , McKenzie, Poole, E- Riley. In each case players not available are asked to notify selectors early. On Sunday, 2Tth March, a one-day Tournament will be staged at the Opunake green commencing at 9 a.m. and rink entries close on Wednesday, 23rd March. LAMBIE PAIRS OKATO PAIRS SUCCESS Huffin and Goldsmith (Okato) beat Bourke and Whalen (Auroa) in the final of the Lambie Shield pairs bowling competition in the western division. Thirty teams competed. Section play was held at Rahotu and Opunake, and the final it Opunake on Monday. A summary of wins is; — Opunake section: Whelan (Auroa) 5; King (Opunake); Henderson (Okato), Bennett (Rahotu) 4; Hickey (Opunake), Hodge (Auroa), Hay (Rahotu), Cathie (Pihama) 3; Tilley (Opunake), Clarke (Raliotu), Paten e (Rahotu), Wallis (Opunake) 2; Findlay (Auroa), Fox (Okato), Gordon (Auroa) 1; Tito (Pihama) 0. Rahotu section: Dawson (Rahotu), Mischefski (Rahotu), Goldsmith (Okato), Morton (Opunake) 4; Ha skill (Rahotu), Sinclair (Opunake), Brophy (Okato), McGaughey (Opunake) 8; Quinn (Opunake) 2; Mitchell (Auroa). Julian (Pihama), Campbell (Pihama), Heather (Pihama) Barlow (Auroa) 1. In the section play-off Goldsmith 10 beat Dawson 4 and Morton 8 beat Mischefski 6. Goldsmith 12 then beat Morton 10. In the competition final, Goldsmith IT beat Whelan 5.
