Before the ballot for the coachselector position was carried out a vote wals taken on a motion favouring two coaches, who would act as selectors in conjunction with the team captainThe motion was carried. The framework of an insurance scheme against injury to players, put forward by Mr. 1. Elgar, was thoroughly discussed and received the wholehearted endorsement of the meeting. It was decided to recommend the adoption of a scheme on Lie lines set out, to he finalized and administered by the incoming committee, through an insurance sub-committee, Oaonni and Pili am a clubs to he invited to participate, if interested. It was further decided to increase seei rr subs 5/- and other grades 2/0 to cover insurance, the lower gradeplayers having the option of paying the full amount for HU insurance benefits. Subscriptions now will lie: senior 10'-, junior 5/-, 4th grade 5/- (or i /0 if taking full insurance cover).
