SUCCESS AT SNGLEWOQD

STREET MARCHING

The Opunake Girls' marching team won silver buttons for first place in the novice section of the street marching competition arranged by the inglewood Girls' marching club on Saturday, and were second in the Open Championship Street "March with 258 points. The winning- team gained 2158-j- points. Nine teams took part. The rapid progress made reflects great credit on the girls themselves and their instructor, Mr. T. Feaver and there is little doubt that they will gain further honours during the year.
