POSTAGE RATES
GREECE AND CRETE SLIGHTLY REDUCED Of interest to ex-servicemen sending parcels to' acquaintances in Greece and Crete is iho notification of a slight decrease in the postage on parcels to those countries. The rates, which will shortly become effective, are: Parcels up to 21b. 3s 6d; 71b, 7s 6d; 111 b, 10s 6d. This is a considerable reduction on the . charge made when the service was first introduced, the charge for a lllb parcel then being 16s- Rerouting enabled the charge to be brought d@wn to lis, and now the altering of the exchange rate has allowed a further reduction.
