NEW PLYMOUTH VISIT INVITATION TO OPUNAKE ‘ The following telegram was received by the Mayor, Mr. R. H. Hughson, on Wednesday: . “The citizens of New Plymouth cordially invite the citizens of Opunake and district to join in the Welcome, at New Plymouth on the morning of Thursday, March 3rd next, to their Majesties the King and Queen and Princess Margaret Rose. — E. Gilmour, Mayor.” The Mayor stated that the Council would he considering the invitation and a public announcement will be made in due course.
